DALLAS, Texas – The HFW Companies has established its corporate headquarters in Dallas, Texas, aligning its new location with one of its existing operating locations in one of the national firm’s fastest-growing infrastructure design markets.
The new headquarters places HFW in the heart of one of the country’s most dynamic markets for engineering, development, and infrastructure innovation, according to Michael Hein, AIA, chief executive officer of HFW. HFW already has had an active presence for several years in Texas, including Dallas, Austin, Houston, San Antonio, and the Gonzales region through affiliated operations and client projects in both the public and private sectors.
“Texas continues to serve as an important market for our firm, for many of our clients, and for our access to a dynamic pool of architecture and engineering-industry (AE) talent,” said Hein. “This change reflects our desire to align even more closely with our network firms in this rapidly growing market, which also plays host to several of the industry’s largest companies.
“However, the new headquarters doesn’t affect our platform operations, leadership structure, or day-to-day business activities, as we always have taken a distributive approach to our corporate structure,” Hein continued. “As such, our corporate leadership will continue to operate from St. Louis and Dallas, as well as Chicago, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, and as far northeast as New Hampshire — across our national footprint.”
