Southwest Engineers

Southwest Engineers, based centrally between Austin and San Antonio, Texas, serves as a living legacy to the commitment of this civil engineering firm’s founder, Clarence Littlefield, to provide high-quality civil engineering to the public and private sectors. Inherent in this commitment is this simple philosophy: “Exceptional designs flourish when challenges are accepted.”

Southwest Engineers exudes the Texas spirit of respect, courtesy, hard work, doing things right, and not backing down from a challenge. Its team takes great pride in contributing to its clients’ successes and improving local communities.

The firm’s focus on the values of faith, family, and community has been commonplace since Clarence’s son, John Littlefield, was 16, assisting with surveying jobs, and lending a hand around the office. John’s professional growth and natural leadership skills eventually welcomed a new era for Southwest Engineers, expanding from water systems into land development to service the Texas boom.
